魚類養殖不僅能提供食用魚與觀賞魚,也在全球糧食供應與經濟發展中扮演關鍵角色。然而,隨著養殖密度升高與環境變化,魚類疾病問題日益嚴重,導致龐大經濟損失,也威脅整個水產產業鏈的永續發展。大多數魚病來自微生物感染,因此,提升魚體免疫力、調控微生物組成以及改善飼料營養,成為減少疾病風險的關鍵策略。

本研究室致力於揭開魚類微生物與免疫互動的機制,以應對當代水產養殖面臨的挑戰。我們整合次世代定序、生物資訊分析、基因調控、生物技術與系統生物學,全面描繪魚類微生物免疫系統的圖譜,並導入「腸道菌相為重要生理器官」的新觀念,探索如何藉由益生菌調控微生物組成來增強免疫、改善飼料效率,並強化疫苗效果。

我們也積極將益生菌技術應用於機能性飼料開發,透過結合農業副產物、微生物發酵與智能配方設計,研發具營養強化、免疫促進與環境友善性的創新飼料產品,朝向低抗生素、可持續的智慧養殖目標邁進。

主要研究方向包含:

  • 魚類益生菌研發與應用
     包括菌株篩選、作用機制、生產保存與飼料應用方式。
  • 腸道菌相與免疫互動機制研究
     探討腸道微生物如何影響魚體健康與生長。
  • 功能性飼料開發
     結合農漁副產物與益生菌,提高營養效率並降低飼料成本。
  • 環境友善養殖策略
     結合微生物介入與風險預測模型,建立智慧化養殖系統。

我們的目標是以科學方法改善魚類疾病防治,減少抗生素與化學藥劑使用,推動水產養殖向永續、健康的方向發展
